Job Details

Our client, based on the South Coast are looking for a Housing Officer to assist in the enforcement of MEES. The officer needs to assist the lead EHO on the project to continue the work already started to enforce the regulations. You will also be asked additionally to undertake a range of Environmental Health duties (specialising as directed) within Private Sector Housing to bring about improvements to housing conditions and to secure a healthy and safe environment. This is achieved through advice, investigation of complaints, education and enforcement of statutory provisions.

To be successful in this application it is crucial that you have the HHSRS certificate as well as experience being a Private Sector Housing Officer for another Local Authority. You will need the ability to visit and carry out detailed inspections of different types of dwellings, particularly using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

They are willing to offer up to £40PH Umbrella for this work. It inside IR35 and they are looking for someone ASAP.
