SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER

Salary up to £37,568 per annum (pay award pending) plus essential car allowance (up to £1,239 pa) plus annual market supplement of £3,500

If you relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced Housing Standards Team and have a passion to improve property, help tenants, and ensure landlords achieve high standards, we have a vacancy for a fully qualified Senior Environmental Health Officer/Practitioner.

We operate a highly successful Landlord Accreditation Scheme, working closely with property owners to improve the quality of privately let houses, including houses in multiple occupation, throughout our district.

Moving forward we want to build on our achievements and are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, enthusiastic and professional individual to help us bring about further improvement within the private rented sector. The role will be responsible for responding to tenant complaints and using enforcement action as required.

A degree in Environmental Health or equivalent, Environmental Health Registration and membership of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health is essential.
