Specialist Noise Officer

Working on behalf of a Local Authority in Buckinghamshire, Buckingham Futures has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Specialist Noise Officer with acoustics experience to investigate noise nuisance on an interim basis.

You will be required to carry out noise and acoustic monitoring and measurement surveys in relation to complaints and evaluate and interpret technical information and comprehensive acoustic reports and makes recommendations for appropriate action in response to complaints. You will also need extensive experience with planning consultations and applications.

Qualifications

- A Degree or diploma in Environmental Health or relevant science degree with a scientific/technical background. Evidence of continuing professional development

- A Diploma in Acoustics is essential.
