Housing Technical Officer

I am currently working with a local authority in West Yorkshire who are looking for a Housing Technical Officer dealing with Disabled Facilities Grants for initially 3 months.

What will you be doing?

• Undertake inspections, audit and surveys of dwellings
• Prepare detailed specifications, technical plans, designs for complex building schemes, schedules of works
• Provide expert professional and technical advice to vulnerable client groups

Experience with Computer Aided Design will be favourable but not essential.

Candidate with HNC in relevant subjects or of 5 years’ experience of working in the building construction or housing maintenance industry will be considered.

What is in it for you?

• £33 per hour (Umbrella)
• Full time 37 hours
• 3 months contract (highly extendable)
