Job Details
Our local authority client based in Hertfordshire are looking for a qualified Environmental Protection Specialist. You do not have to be a registered Environmental Health Officer, but you must have experience of managing a wide range of Environmental Protection cases and should be able to deal specifically with detailed and complex noise investigations and Planning Applications. You will be acting for the council to ensure that Environmental Protection issues are both proactively and reactively. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements, but also assisting colleagues with noise related issues.
As mentioned, your do not need to be a registered EHO for this post but you do need to have experience working within this field. A minimum of 3 years would be ideal.
This contract will run until the end of March 2023 so ideal for those looking for longevity. They are looking for 37 hours per week but if you are only available Part Time we would be more than happy to submit you based on the hours you can offer. Rates will be from £40 per hour Umbrella.
