About you

This is a public facing role so you will need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing. You will be passionate about environmental health and making a positive difference.

In addition to routine and reactive work, there will be many other opportunities for you to take advantage of.

We have close links with the Food Standards Agency with the Achieving Business Compliance (ABC) Strategy, with pilot projects involving our primary authority and routine work.

Located just 22 minutes from London by train, with excellent links to the M1 it makes Luton one of the most affordable commuter towns in the country.

With an ongoing £1.5bn transformation of Luton, including the town centre and relocation of the football ground and new passenger line to London Luton Airport, this is attracting high quality businesses to the area, creating thousands of new jobs, housing, retail and leisure opportunities. It really is an exciting time to join us.
