We are looking to recruit experienced Environmental Health Officers with supervisory/management experience to lead a small team of officers focussing on either private sector housing or statutory nuisance.  You will be an expert in your field and be able to demonstrate a high degree of professional competence and extensive relevant experience.

For the housing team leader role, you will be able to demonstrate experience of managing a team dealing with private sector housing, HMOs, mobile homes, empty properties, and compulsory purchase.   Ideally, you will have an additional relevant post graduate qualification.

For the nuisance team leader role, you will be able to demonstrate experience of managing a team dealing with statutory nuisance, complex noise cases, drainage, and private water supplies.  Ideally, you will have a diploma in acoustics and/or additional relevant post graduate qualifications.

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Compliance), you will play an integral role in delivering our service priorities and mentoring team members. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of problem solving and achieving compliance alongside delivering excellent customer service /satisfaction through your excellent communication skills.

A driving licence is essential for this role
