Grade H: £36,596.50 - £41,395.50 per annum (pro rata)
Part-time 22.2 hours per week permanent
The Job:
We are looking for a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and committed officer to join our Health Protection, Compliance and Business Support Team. Our team has responsibility for delivering a range of services including food safety, occupational health and safety, communicable disease control and assorted licensing duties to customers in the Cherwell District Council area.
The Person:
If you are a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (EHRB registered) who can demonstrate recent experience of inspection and enforcement work in relation to food safety and occupational health and safety we would be very pleased to hear from you and we would also welcome applications from those who may be recently qualified. You must be able to demonstrate competency to deliver the full range of ‘Official Controls’ as detailed in the Food Standards Agency Food Law Code of Practice. A full current driving license and flexible approach is essential. You will be committed to teamwork and working with external organisations with a positive ‘can do’ approach to resolving problems and issues. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, self-disciplined and committed to delivering a customer orientated service.
