Job Details
Our client, based in West London, are looking for a Specialist Noise Officer to monitor the construction of major projects within the borough for a 12 month period. They need an Officer who can provide specialist knowledge, expertise and experience for planning development and construction works in relation to noise, vibration and light. It is also important that you maintain and monitor the works at the relevant sites and to record and report on any breaches of S61 Consent under the Control of Pollution Act 1974. You will also be asked to support the Noise and Nuisance Service both during office hours and as part of an out-of-hours 7 day a week service operation.
The successful candidate will have experience responding to consultations and represent the Service on Planning and Licensing applications (scrutinise, process and comment on statutory applications, planning applications and schemes including pre-application. Holding the acoustics Diploma is also essential for the successful application of this role.
Due to the 12 month contract being offered you will be paid £29PH Umbrella however if you are looking for more then we can submit you at a higher rate.
