You will be working with a great team of highly motivated Environmental Health professionals dealing with a varied and interesting workload, from investigating private water supplies, investigating fly-tippers, to solving neighbour noise nuisances and a range of other environmental issues.  We value staff training and development so that everyone can reach their potential.

About the role…

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with a track record of excellence in service delivery. The purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise, advice and direction to internal and external customers when solving problems or managing risks. You will need to apply a high level of expert knowledge within a technical area of expertise and manage sensitive, open ended case or project based work.

    Working as an Officer leading in the following Environmental Health areas:

    • Nuisance/Anti-Social Behaviour

    • Public Health and Private Water Supplies

    • Enviro-crime 

This is a replacement role covering the Cotswolds, famous for quintessentially English market towns and villages built from honey-coloured stone. With a range of gently rolling hills and the largest area of outstanding natural beauty in England making it a perfect base for walking and cycling, you will have this right on your doorstep.  With our agile working ethos: you will be spoilt for choice.

·       Knowledge and experience of delivering Environmental Health work relevant to the purpose of this specific role.
