I'm currently working with a Lancashire based local authority who are looking for someone proficient in Private Sector Housing to carry out their HHSRS inspections on a full-time basis, covering issues including disrepair, drainage etc.
You don't necessarily have to be an Environmental Health Officer, however previous experience in Private Sector Housing will be ideal.
