Corporate Health & Safety Manager
Are you a Health & Safety Professional looking to take on a new challenge? Can you lead by example within a progressive and forward thinking organisation? If so, Monmouthshire has an exciting opportunity to present to you.
As a Council we recognise the value of having robust Health & Safety measures in place,delivered through strong and decisive leadership. Are you already working at a strategic level in a Corporate Health & Safety environment and feel you’re ready to step up? Or are you an experienced Environmental Health Practitioner with the strategic vision and management experience to lead on Health & Safety?
The Corporate Health & Safety Manager will be a strategic thinker, providing clear vision, direction and structure to our approach. Excellent communication and coordination skills are a must, linking with our Directorates, HR and occupational health professionals to ensure consistency and compliance across the organisation. This is a key leadership role, working both strategically and operationally, to shape and drive policy. You’ll provide innovation and enthusiasm to deliver on safety procedures and initiatives, ensuring that colleagues, customers and service users remain safe. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a wide range of partners from within the organisation and beyond – its a varied, demanding and responsible role.
