‘People are proud to live and work in Slough where diversity is celebrated and where residents can enjoy fulfilling prosperous and healthy lives.’
The Council supports a range of flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance dependant on the operational needs of each service.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Food & Safety Team. You will be part of a small, busy and supportive team of professionals. You will be involved in routine inspection and enforcement duties and will also have an opportunity to work with some of our Primary Authority Partners.
Slough is home to a wide range of businesses and this role presents you with an ideal opportunity to broaden your experience and enhance your professional development.
The successful applicant will meet the Food Hygiene qualification requirements of the Food Law Code of Practice and be an organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and time management skills. We want you to help us make a real difference to the safety and wellbeing of Slough residents and our visitors.
In return we offer generous leave allowances, a defined benefit pension scheme, membership of a professional organisation and access to training and professional development opportunities.
