Hours:   37 per week - Permanent

This is a unique and rare opportunity to join a busy, professional and high performing Public Protection Department. Denbighshire boasts stunning coastline, rich heritage, quaint rural towns within an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We are looking to fill 2 positions in our Housing & Pollution Team., a fully qualified Environmental Health Officer post and the other an experienced Senior Technical Officer. Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of working in the fields of Pollution & Public Health and the work across the team will be both interesting and varied including the following areas: statutory nuisance & complaint investigations, air quality management (including environmental permitting), private water supplies, and other public health work.

Ideally we are looking to recruit one of the candidates with a specialism in acoustics to provide technical advice on planning & licensing consultations and more complex noise investigations, but if you don’t already have this, but meet the course entry criteria we will consider sponsorship onto the Institute of Acoustics Diploma Course.
