Salary Grade:   9-10 (Senior 11), £30,095 - £34,373 (£35,336 – £37,568), refer to the Career Grade Scheme, plus Night Noise Service payment typically £2400

We are looking for a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join our busy and forward-looking Environmental Protection Service.

The post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience dealing with a range of environmental protection duties, including statutory nuisance, anti-social behaviour, contaminated land and air quality.

Ideally you will have recent experience in relation to this role, however applications are also welcome from EHOs with expertise in other areas who wish to broaden their experience, or from those who are recently qualified.

The contracted hours are 37 per week and this will include some evening and weekend duties. The post holders will also be on rota as one of the duty officers for our night noise service.
