Environmental Health Officer

Contract details:

- £42 per hour umbrella

- 1st September start date

- 3 month initial contract (potential for extension)

Main responsibilities:

- Routine food hygiene inspection of Category B-E risk rated premises

- Responding to and investigating food hygiene complaints

You will be working within the commercial team of a semi rural authority. The role will be predominantly inspection focussed and there would be very little admin work involved, therefore the client would expect it to be a mostly field based position. Would suit candidates that enjoy being out on district and not locked away in the office/at home.

To be successful for the role, you would need to either be EHRB registered or hold the Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection. You would also need to be able to provide evidence of 20 hours CPD, along with a completed competency matrix.
