Environmental Health Officer

A local authority based in the Surrey area is looking for an experienced EHO to join their team on an initial 3 month contract to assist the Health and Safety team and also the Food Safety team.

The role would consist of:

• Health and safety inspections i.e. RIDDOR.
• Food safety inspections i.e. Low risk and unrated.
• Policy making and advise.

This role is perfect for any EHO or EHP who has experience of food and H&S inspections within local authority.

The manager has specified that the right candidate would have experience in RIDDOR inspections and also has food CPD up to date.

They would need someone ASAP and the contract would be looking initially for 3-6 months.

Rates of pay would start at £40+ per hour.
