Job Details
Our local authority client, based in West London are looking to appoint x2 experienced Environmental Health Private Sector Housing Officers. Duties will include HMO inspections and enforcement as well as HHSRS inspections, preparing work schedules, serving statutory notices, follow up enforcement through issuing civil penalty fines or prosecutions.
To be considered you must hold the HHSRS certificate and have good technical knowledge of building construction for residential premises and experience of using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and inspecting HMOs. You must be able to commit at least 3 days on site in the borough and admin can be done from home.
This contract could potentially run for up to 9 months. Perfect for those looking for long term positions. Both roles are F/T but the client is willing to consider those who are looking for P/T hours as well. Rates are competitive and will start from £38 per hour. Higher rates can be negotiated as well.
