Environmental Health Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic qualified Environmental Health Officer to join our Safety and Environment team.

The work of the team includes an interesting mix of nuisance investigations at commercial premises, dealing with planning and licensing applications, air quality, accident investigations and workplace safety investigations. In BCP we have a vibrant night time economy and we have a large number of events that take place each year in our public spaces and on our beautiful sandy beaches. The role is both varied and interesting and provides the opportunity to use the full range of expertise and skills you have as a qualified Environmental Health Officer.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with a flexible approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. This is a great opportunity for an EHO to get some great experience dealing with interesting and complex work. Applications from newly qualified officers are welcomed.

You must hold a Degree, Diploma or Master’s in Environmental Health.
