Job Details
Our client, based in Hertfordshire are looming for an Environmental Health Environmental Protection and Housing Manager who would be capable and available to manage an Environmental Health Environmental Protection and Housing (EP&H) Team for a period of initially one month; the post is to cover and assist the team during the phased return of the Service Manager.
The officer would be expected to provide guidance and expertise to the existing team (2 Environmental Health Officers & 4 Technical Officers, supervise and guide Technical Officers in their work and development, Undertake some complaints response and investigation in the EP&H team (e.g., statutory nuisance, housing conditions, etc.) and be available full time and attend our offices and on-site meetings or inspections at least some of the time.
To be successful you have to have experience and competence in Environmental Protection and/or Housing work as well as experience as an effective team or service manager for a Local Authority.
As this is a short contract we would need you to start before 1st July 2022 and they are willing to discuss rates depending on experience and qualifications.
