Job Details

Our client, based in Hertfordshire is looking for an EHO (must be registered with EHORB) with current housing enforcement experience to work in their Private Sector housing team for a year. You must be HHSRS certified and be able to assess and undertake the most appropriate course of action under the Housing Act 2004. The successful candidate will be covering an officer's post whilst they have a medical absence for an initial 3 months. The contract will be for 29 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and you will be expected to be in the office/Stevenage 2 out of 3 days (Monday and Wednesday)
The work involves job sharing with another colleague to cover a district for all residential work including HMO inspections & complaints, Residential complaints incl. pest control, Empty properties and Energy efficiency.
In order to be considered, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience within this field, hold the HHSRS cert and be able to hit the ground running without supervision and they use Uniform so knowledge of the system is helpful, but not essential.
The hourly rate will be £35-£40PH Umbrella and they are looking for a mid July start.
