Public Protection Team Leader
Location - Sleaford Main Offices
Salary Range - £40,735 to £45,447 (includes 12% market supplement)
Package - Local Government Pension Scheme, Health Scheme, Essential car user allowance
Basis - Full Time
The Public Protection Team within North Kesteven District Council provides a range of services including food hygiene, health and safety, caravan and animal licensing and private sector housing enforcement.
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for a small team of officers, ensuring the delivery of a quality service to address the above work areas, and to promote improvements to the environment of our residents and businesses. The role will require partnership working with other agencies to deliver these services.
Reporting to the Environmental Health Manager, you will be our lead professional in the delivery of the food hygiene, health and safety and private sector housing enforcement. As well as a proven track record, you will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, together with the ability to effectively manage and motivate others.
