Permanent Contract
Hours of work are 37 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Salary: Grade 10 (SCP 31-33) £35,336 - £37,568 per annum

To support this, we are now seeking to recruit an Environmental Health Officer to our Commercial Team to maintain resilience within Environmental Health and the wider Regulatory Service team.
Regulatory Services delivers the Environmental Health, Development Management, Licensing and Estates functions for the Council and works closely with Emergency Planning and Building Control. The post holder will support the Environmental Health Manager and Principal Environmental Health Officer in delivering the full range of Commercial Team duties and responsibilities together with other colleagues.
Applications are invited from candidates with a Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Health, who have a minimum of 12 months operational experience within the food and health & safety disciplines. We are looking for a candidate who has energy, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills in order to make a positive impact and help boost service delivery.
