Job Details
Our client, based in Essex are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Protection Officer who is able to investigate, assess and act upon complex issues relating to pollution, Noise and nuisance issues and determine the most appropriate course of action. To provide technical evidence in court proceedings, tribunals and Public Inquiries and to provide customers with advice on minimising pollution, in particular noise.
This role does require you to have experience of working within a local authority setting and have a minimum of 2 years experience. They have quite a high workload and therefore do need someone who can hit the ground running and not require training.
Client can offer a 6 month contract £35-£40 per hour Umbrella and there is some working from home available while not on site. This is available for full or part time.
