Environmental Health Technical Officer/Environmental Health Officer
37 Hrs Per Week (Job Share will be considered)
Permanent Position
AR6/AR7 - £27,741 to £36,922 per annum (starting salary dependent on qualifications & experience)

This is an exciting opportunity to work in two of the most picturesque places in Staffordshire and Derbyshire for a dedicated professional who wants to either progress their career with additional training or embark on a new challenge and join a forward thinking strategic alliance food team delivering first class services to its customers.
As a Technical Officer/Environmental Health Officer, you will carry out statutory duties including inspecting, investigating, and taking enforcement action where necessary. You will work as part of a team, have good verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently and as a remote worker. Access to a vehicle is essential along with the ability to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
Inspecting officers must hold or be working towards a baseline qualification
to enable them to carry out food hygiene inspections and obtain the appropriate registration issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board.
To apply for this role, you will need to be a dedicated individual have a good eye for detail and be willing to work as part of a team to deliver the Authorities targets, recent enforcement experience in relation to food safety work, Animal Welfare Licensing experience is desirable, however the door is open to a dedicated individual that may require some additional training and mentoring.
