12 month contract - now that’s what you call security! With rates up to £45 per hour, how could you resist!

If you are coming close to the end of your current contract, how better to set yourself up for 2022, than with this year long contract. Or perhaps you’ve always considered a move into contracting, but the usual short contract always created doubt in your mind?

Based in Hertfordshire, this council is looking for a Food Safety Officer. The team currently consists of 4 EHO’s, so if you are looking for that true team spirit, this is it!

You can expect your weeks to be filled with the full scope of responsibilities that come with being a Food Safety Officer, including inspections A-E, enforcement actions, complains, and infectious disease outbreaks.

To qualify for the role, you will need the Higher Certificate in Food Control or be EHORB registered and have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position as an EHO or EHP.

This council is more focussed on finding the right candidate, rather than finding someone to start instantly.

This role is full time, with flexible working, expect to be on site 3 days a week. Rates are between £35 - £45 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
