Conwy is a progressive county creating opportunity, situated at the centre of North Wales in an area of natural beauty, with outstanding mountains and coastline. It is well connected and served by the A55.

We want the right people to join our Food and Health & Safety team to undertake a range of work including Food Safety and Standards as well as Health and Safety and Animal Licensing.

You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and diligent. With a large and diverse number of food and other businesses in the county of all types and risks, including manufacturers, there is a diverse workload.  Work will include inspections, dealing with complaints, sampling, projects and promotion as well as appropriate enforcement.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player. You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a car while at work.

Applicants will have a Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent as well as a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB) or its equivalent.
