We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to work within the food team at Hull City Council.

If you would like to be part of a busy food team working with a wide variety of commercial and retail food businesses then this opportunity may be just the challenge you are looking for.  Your role will be focused on ensuring that excellent regulatory and advisory services are provided for the food businesses based within our City.

You will be closely involved with the usual environmental health functions of infectious diseases work, food complaints, advice to new food businesses, and inspection of food premises.  The city has a number of approved premises and our work also involves the issue of export certificates for businesses who need this service.  You will also give health and safety advice in food businesses.

Whether you are already experienced or just embarking upon your career as an Environmental Health professional you can look forward to working with a dedicated team of officers who strive to protect the community of Hull, and promote a high level of compliance within our businesses.

For an informal discussion please contact Sam Bacon on 01482 615362.
