Job Details
Our client based in the East of England is looking to appoint Housing and Environmental Health Manager to lead housing standards and public health in their newly structured regulatory service.
Operating across the organisation and in partnership, the post holder will help the council move forwards, leading innovative practices to improve the delivery of regulatory services. Working with internal and external stakeholders and elected members, this role is focused on protecting residents in their homes through good regulatory practice and in so doing supporting the development of safe communities.
You will be leading a flexible and multi-disciplined team, who investigate and enforce a range of legislation across environmental health and housing, the post holder will oversee highly complex investigations and effectively manage risks, as well as developing and delivering relevant strategies and policies.

The salary for this role is £45,800pa which could rise to £51,800 based on performance reviews.
