Are you looking for a new post within the privately rented sector with a local authority?
If so, this post might be ideal for you. The local authority is based in the very busy North West, accessible from Yorkshire also from Staffordshire, due to the road links.
They are looking to hire two PSH Officers as quickly as possible and rates are in the region of £30-£32 per hour with a contract length until March '22 to start with, potentially going until March '23 based on performance.
You will be required to:
- Perform HMO Licensing Inspections.
- Issue improvement notices using the hazard rating system.
- Respond to reactive complaint work.
- Use enforcement where necessary.
As they are a small team an experienced officer will be required. The PSH team consists of just one other officer plus the manager.
