DBS4120 Environmental Health Officer (Port Health)
Permanent, 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,234 - £35,745 pa plus £5,000 pa market supplement.
Closing date: 19 December 2021.
A permanent professional and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer is required to join the Environmental Health Port Health Team within the Public Protection Service. An Officer with a specialism in Food and experience on Port Health is required and should hold the CIEH Environmental Health Registration Board Certificate or is working towards or has attained CIEH Chartered Status in Environmental Health.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with the relevant level of experience in an Environmental Health background. It is desirable that the candidate will have worked previously as an Environmental Health Officer in a local authority and in a Port Health function.
This is a varied role to include all areas of Port Health and Food and previous experience working in that field as an Environmental Health Officer is desirable.
