Job Details

Our client is a Local Authority in North West London that covers a very large area, home to a very diverse population and a wide range of businesses. They are looking for an established Project Manager to deliver several key service delivery projects within their Street Scene section.

As a Project Manager you will play a key role in scoping projects, developing, monitoring and maintaining the project plan and leading other staff members. One specific project which our client is working on is a new Data & Works Management System (DWMS). You will be involved with co-ordinating meetings, managing stakeholders and developing capacity among service staff and teams to design and deliver projects.

To be successful in this role you will need a proven track record in project delivery. It is essential that you have worked within Street Scene previously within a Local Authority and you must be able to show excellent judgement, political astuteness and have confidence in working closely with senior officers.

Our client would expect to see an appropriate level of qualification and a strong training record, PRINCE2 Practitioner for example. You will need excellent communication skills and you will need to be comfortable challenging ideas and contributing your own to improve service delivery. You will be expected to lead by example and use your previous experience to track and evaluate staff performance, delegate work effectively and empower others.

The rate will be £350/day.
