Salary: £41,881 - £43,857 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week (including 30 minutes to be used towards the shut down between Christmas and New Year)

Harlow Council is seeking a highly motivated individual that will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the Licensing team which covers Taxi Licensing (Private Hire and Hackney Carriage), Premises Licensing, Gambling, Street Trading, Personal Licenses, Lotteries and Amusements and Scrap Metal Dealers.

Previous supervisional experience in a similar environment is essential with a strong working knowledge of regulatory Licensing functions. The Post Holder will be expected to write Committee Reports & present reports at both Licensing Committees & Sub Committees. Excellent organisational and communication skills with stakeholders, business, residents and colleagues are essential with the flexibility and willingness to work evenings/weekends when required.
