Job Details
Our client is a Local Authority based in the East Midlands. They are looking to appoint an interim Waste Contract Manager until at least the end of March 2022.
You will have responsibility for overseeing service delivery, acting as the lead for all contractual and performance issues including managing the complaints process and ensuring a high standard of service. You will deal with day to day operational procedures and you will produce management reports to help inform decision making.
Our client needs someone with solid experience in a similar capacity as you will need to hit the ground running. You will need an excellent understanding of the contracts and procurement process within the waste management sector with a particular emphasis on ensuring compliance and delivery standards are met.
Previous roles will have given you high level insight into managing household waste recycling centres and transfer stations and you will be able to bring your experience and ideas to the role and help improve operations.
The rate is entirely negotiable and will depend on your level of experience but we would expect somewhere in the region of £400-£500/day (umbrella). The role is inside IR35.
