You will also be asked to deal with Drainage investigations and pests. Any experience in Community Protection cases will put you in a strong position. To be successful in the role is it is very important that you have experience doing this role, for another Council for at least 2 years, they are aware this is a broad role so more experience of the above tasks, the better the chance you will be successful but not all are essential. The position would not suit a recently qualified EHO or someone who has no experience in Environmental protection as we a quite busy and need someone who has experience and can hit the ground running. You will be offered an initial 6 month contract paying £32-£40PH LTD and it is expect this contract will be extended beyond the initial end date.
