The current team is made up of a mix of experienced Environmental Health Officers and Technical Officers with a wealth of knowledge across the Sector. If you want to join a team of strong officers that want to make a real difference, this is the team for you! 

Your New Position 

You will be working as an Officer within the Food Safety team, responsible for ensuring the District’s Food Businesses are complying with all relevant legislation and standards as well as COVID compliance regulations.

Role Duties: 

• Undertaking Food Premises Inspections 
• Dealing with complaints 
• Reactive works 
• Covid related response 

This position will involve remote/home working.

This Authority welcomes applications from both EHRB Registered EHO’s and Technical Officers holding the Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspections or Control. You will need up-to-date Food CPD and competencies to be considered for this position.
