LOCATION: Albany Street, Oban, PA34 4AW

SALARY: £35,987 - £39,363 per year

CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

HOURS: 35 hours per week

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working for the Council’s Regulatory Services team in a very challenging yet beautiful part of Scotland. Working from the Oban office, you will undertake the wide range of environmental health enforcement, including public health and food safety. There will be a requirement to manage your own district workload, whilst ensuring and protecting public health. We will provide you with varied workload in all areas of environmental health. Consideration will be given to applications from newly qualified Environmental Health Officer, these aiming to sit their professional interview in 2021, and also from non-EHO’s who are authorised food safety officers for the Regulatory Services option
