Your new role
The Regulatory Services Team are keen to appoint two experienced Enforcement Officers on a full time and permanent basis. These roles will require you to carry out inspections, visits and enquiries within relevant premises as required. This involves carrying out formal actions in relation to offences, breaches of conditions and other specific requirements including issuing enforcement notices, fixed penalty notices, issuing verbal and written warnings and institution of legal proceedings.
Occasionally this work may require working through into the evening to complete an investigation or early morning and late evening inspections where cases require.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in dealing with houses in the private sector particularly multiple occupation (HMO) including mandatory licensing of HMOs. Knowledge of relevant regulatory services legislation and relevant enforcement procedures is essential for this role.
Certification and awareness of HHSRS will be advantageous
