Regional Health & Food Safety Manager- North

Roadchef Motorway Services is looking for an experienced Regional Health & Food Safety Manager for the North region.

Our Site support office is based at Norton Canes but for this field based position you will need to live and travel around the North of the UK 

The role is responsible and accountable for ensuring compliance in accordance with legal requirements and the Roadchef Health & Safety policy, Food Safety Management System and Fire Safety log within the North region.

This will include development, delivery and completion of Health, Fire and Food safety training activities, completing site-based Health & Food safety audits across the region and investigation of site Health and Food safety incidents and accidents.

Experience required:

Proven experience of conducting audits and investigations in relation to Health, Fire and Food Safety in the catering, retail and hospitality industry.

Proven experience of design and delivery of Health, Fire and Food Safety training programmes within the catering, retail and hospitality industry.

Specialist experience and expertise in key areas of Health, Food and Fire Safety.

Hold suitable qualifications. We are looking for expertise in one or more specialist areas, Food Safety, Forecourt Operations LPG and DSEAR, Disability Access and as such you may be required to support on a national basis within this specialist area

Must be a confident presenter, and be able to partner with others and communicate effectively to give clarity and understanding to others, especially with regards to Health, Fire and Food Safety compliance.

Ability to work successfully with people at different levels and influence more senior Managers.

Well organised, excellent at prioritising and managing time.

Team orientated and will always support the wider business in achieving its goals.

Ability to work on own initiative, setting standards for others and measuring performance.

Enthusiastic and passionate about driving and maintaining high standards of Health, Fire and Food Safety Compliance.
