Mae'r Cyngor eisiau recriwtio Swyddog Ardal - Iechyd yr Amgylchedd â chymwysterau a phrofiad addas i weithio yn ei Dîm Iechyd yr Amgylchedd – Tai, sy'n rhan o'r gwasanaeth Tai Sector Preifat ehangach.

Mae'n ofynnol eich bod chi wedi cofrestru â Bwrdd Cofrestru Iechyd yr Amgylchedd a bod gennych chi gymhwyster asesu priodol y System Mesur Iechyd a Diogelwch ar gyfer Tai.   Mae'r gwasanaeth yn gyfrifol am reoleiddio'r sector rhentu preifat, gan gynnwys tai amlfeddiannaeth, ymchwilio i geisiadau am wasanaeth yn ogystal â darparu cynhyrchion ariannol fel grantiau tai a benthyciadau.  

Mae'r gwasanaeth yn ymwneud â sicrhau bod cartrefi gwag yn cael eu defnyddio eto yn ogystal â nifer o fentrau cysylltiedig ag ynni.. Bydd deiliad y swydd yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth â thîm eiddo gwag sydd newydd ei greu i gynorthwyo'r Cyngor i wneud y mwyaf posibl i sicrhau bod cartrefi gwag yn cael eu defnyddio eto.  

Bydd gennych chi wybodaeth gadarn am ddeddfwriaeth Tai berthnasol, sgiliau cyfathrebu rhagorol a safon uchel o ddatrys problemau a sgiliau gwneud penderfyniadau. 

Byddwch chi'n hyrwyddo a chynnal y lefelau boddhad cwsmeriaid uchaf posibl yn barhaus mewn perthynas â'r gwasanaethau sy'n cael eu darparu.   Byddwch chi yn y swyddfa ond yn gweithio mewn ffordd ystwyth gan ymweld â safleoedd yn rheolaidd. Mae'n ofynnol i chi gymryd rhan mewn gwasanaeth y tu allan i oriau gan gynnwys gweithio ar benwythnosau.

Mae'n ofynnol bod gennych chi drwydded yrru categori B (ceir) llawn y DU a defnyddio cerbyd modur wedi'i yswirio at ddibenion busnes/gwaith i deithio o fewn a'r tu allan i'r Fwrdeistref Sirol yn ogystal â gallu gweithio y tu allan i oriau swyddfa arferol pan fo angen.

Job Title:  District Environmental Health Officer

Salary:  Grade 10 £35,745 SCP32  – £38,890 SCP35

The post is permanent and full time

The Council is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced District Environmental Health Officer to work within its Housing Environmental Health Team, which is part of the wider Private Sector Housing service.

You are required to have EHORB registration and hold a suitable HHSRS assessment qualification.  The service is responsible for the regulation of the private rented sector, including Houses in Multiple Occupation, investigation of service requests as well as delivery of financial products such as housing grants and loans.

The service is involved in the return to use of empty homes as well as various energy related initiatives. The post holder will work in partnership with a newly created empty properties team to assist the Council in maximising the beneficial return to use of empty homes.

You will have sound knowledge of relevant Housing legislation, excellent communication skills and a high standard of problem solving and decision making skills. 

You will continuously promote and maintain the highest possible customer satisfaction levels in respect of services provided.  You will be office based but work in an agile manner undertaking site visits regularly. You are required to participate in an out of hours service including weekend working.

You are required to have a full UK category B (cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/ work purposes to travel within and outside the Borough as well as being able to work outside normal office hours when required.
