We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our friendly and professional Environmental Protection Team.  The team is a front-line regulatory service and covers the full range of Environmental Protection Work including statutory nuisance, planning, and licencing consultations, private water supplies, environmental permitting, air quality and contaminated land.  

Team members work flexibly across the various functions and will take on Lead Officer roles in specific areas to become more in-depth service leads.

The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable experience in Environmental Protection work, such as nuisance, contaminated land, environmental permitting, pest control, dog control and drainage.

The post attracts an essential user car allowance and payment of professional fees. A flexi-time scheme is in operation.  Sedgemoor is also encouraging hybrid working with a mixture of office and home working available to all team members.
