Our client based in the East Midlands is recruiting for a Team Manager to manage the food and health and safety team on a full time basis.
Contract Length: 3 months Rolling
Rate: £350 - £400 per day
You will be guiding and managing officers in relation to undertaking the inspection of food premises and also will advise businesses on the changing Covid Regulations.
- Leading the enforcement contained within the Food Safety and Health and Safety team.
- Develop and coordinate the development and effective implementation of strategies and policies.
- Manage the team to ensure that all agreed targets are delivered across the area of responsibility.
To be considered you must have previous experience in managing a team within a council setting and you must hold one of the baseline qualifications and have associated registration. The baseline qualifications are Higher Certificate in Food Control or certificate of registration or Diploma issued by Environmental Health Registration Board.
You must be able to demonstrate how capable you are of meeting the competencies relating to Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4.) and have at least 10 hours of Food Core CPD as specified in the current version of the Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance.
A copy of relevant qualifications, CPD certificates and certificates of registration with EHORB/EHRB (or equivalent) must be held on file by Buckingham Futures before the contract commences.
