Senior Environmental Health Officer
Environmental Services, Licensing and Community Safety
37 Hours per week, Permanent Contract
Salary range: £35,545 to £39,913 per annum plus £2,907 Car Allowance per annum.
Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience
An opportunity has arisen to work in the Food and Safety team of the shared Environmental Health Service with Wealden Council; covering much of the beautiful rural area of East Sussex and including the towns of Bexhill, Crowborough, Hailsham and Rye. Specialist knowledge and/or qualifications in food hygiene or health and safety is essential.
The service covers a wide range of environmental health and licensing functions and aims to provide a professional service, supporting local businesses, whilst protecting public health. SEHO are expected to work across all areas of the environmental health and licensing service as required.
Applicants must be registered as an Environmental Health Practitioner with the EHORB.
