Food Safety Inspectors

We have the opportunity to bid for a long term food safety inspection project with a Local Authority on the South Coast of England (Hampshire / Dorset catchment area). The initial contract will run for 2 years from November 2021 with the option to extend by a further 2.

The client will need at least 350-400 inspections per year and up to 700. The spec is to carry out the initial inspection, complete the report, risk rate and issue the score under the FHRS. In certain instances a revisit may be required to check on remedial works.

Inspections will be carried out unannounced and between the hours of 8am-10pm, 7 days per week. We will be able to provide you with an inspection list that suits your particular circumstances and availability and we are happy to allocate small batches of work.

We are not necessarily looking for your full commitment for the contract duration and we will be happy to use multiple Inspectors as required.

We expect to be paying around £55-£65 for Cat C premises and £45-£55 for Cat D. Additional rates will be paid for revisits.
