Job Details

We are working for a client in East London who are looking to fill the role of Senior Ops Manager - Waste on a contract basis. We expect the contract will run for at least 6 months but possibly up to end of March 2022.

You will oversee the core areas listed below, serving to provide leadership and direction through the effective management of resources across the various teams

- Recycling and Waste collections
- Green Garden Waste operations
- Trade Waste collection service
- Bulky waste collections

We are looking for someone with experience in a Local Authority setting or from a waste contractor background but with evidence of working alongside Local Authorities to deliver operational services. Good management skills are essential and you will need to be a confident leader and decision maker. You will be comfortable working under pressure and dealing with the demands of a highly active waste management operation.

We expect the rate to be £350-£450/day Ltd / umbrella; the role is inside IR35.
