Job Details

Our local authority client, based in the West Midlands are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Environmental Health Housing Officer. You will have a track record of undertaking HHSRS assessments and leading on resultant enforcement action. You must be able to prepare and deliver successful prosecution cases and/or civil penalties for HMO Management Regulations and HMO Licensing offences etc. There are no management duties but our client requires someone who is able to offer support to a team member, be on hand for any questions etc.

Our client will base their decision on the experience you can offer, therefore it is imperative that you only apply if you have at least 2 years local authority experience within Environmental Health Housing. You must hold the HHSRS certificate.

This is a full time post but you are able to work from home, must be able to be on site for inspections and this is no more than 2/3 days per week if that. Our client would like for someone to be able to start at the beginning of September and interviews will be held next week.

Rates on offer will be from £35 and the contract will run until the end of December
