Job Details

Our local authority client, based in Kent are looking to appoint two experienced EH Housing Officers to work as part of a team in the provision of a comprehensive support service for the Private Sector Housing Team. To be responsible for the delivery of legally compliant documentation for officers and the public through the preparation and service of statutory notices and licences within HMO licensing schemes, housing enforcement and other support roles as required.

Our client is also looking to fill another position within their team, this role will focus on Energy Efficiency and will be very much enforcement based. Your day to day work will be within this remit and not regular Environmental health housing duties.

All three roles will require an experienced housing enforcement office. Our client will not consider anyone without this experience, you must have at least 2 years experience within Private Sector Housing in a local authority setting.

The Housing Enforcement positions will run for an initial 3 months, starting in early and mid August. The Energy Efficiency role will run for 6 months. All three roles will require you to be on site and possibly office based but this would depend upon how busy the team gets.

Rates for all three roles are negotiable, starting at £35 per hour.
