Location: Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay and remote working

Salary: G09 £37,890 - £40,876 per annum

Hours and Basis: 37 hours per week, permanent

Conwy is a progressive county creating opportunity, situated at the centre of North Wales in an area of natural beauty, with outstanding mountains and coastline. It is well connected and served by the A55.

We want the right people to join our Food/ H&S and Test, Trace Protect (TTP) teams to undertake a range of work including Food Safety and Standards, Health and Safety and Covid-19 cluster, incident and support work. TTP work will include identifying, and investigating potentially linked cases, clusters, outbreaks or incidents of COVID-19 at a local level to support the health protection response, working with Tracers/Advisers and others to provide necessary guidance and support.  The ability to effectively work in collaboration with others producing work to tight timescales is essential.

You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and diligent. With a large and diverse range of premises and activities there is a diverse workload.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player. You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a car while at work.

Applicants will be appropriately qualified in accordance with the Food Standards Agency Food Law Code of Practice, having a degree in Environmental Health or equivalent as well as a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).
