Job Details
Our local authority client, based in southwest England are looking to appoint a full or part-time experienced EP officer who is able to start as soon as possible. The work will involve responding to service requests for Statuary Nuisance such as Noise, Drainage, Odour etc. They are team of generalists so the more disciplines you can cover the better (excluding food and housing).
You will have practical experience of enforcing legislation within a local authority, and have full understanding of the practicalities of carrying out compliance and enforcement work. In order to be considered it is absolutely essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within a local authority setting. Post graduate experience and a qualification in noise measurement and control would be an advantage.
This is a 6 month contract (initially) where the client are looking for part time. You will be allowed to work remotely but you must be able to work during office hours and be able to get on district when needed. They are looking to pay £30-£35PH LTD.
