We are part of the Public Protection Service based in Fred Perry House in the centre of Stockport, 5 minutes away from the bus and train stations and the M60.  The Service covers environmental health, trading standards, licensing, pest control, hygiene action, cemeteries, parking enforcement and school crossing patrols.  The Commercial & Trading Standards Team is responsible for the regulation and enforcement of the full range of Trading Standards legislation as well as food hygiene and standards, workplace health and safety, and infectious diseases.
